Part of the change in communities Dilys is involved in, is her work with widows. She is the proud founder of the ‘Not This Widow Foundation’ in Ghana. This foundation helps widows rebuild their lives through financial support and compassion by creating a safe space for them and their children to heal through the grieving process through grief coaching. The foundation helps to facilitate the process by which widows are able to regain their self-confidence and their voice, to empower them to live life on their terms with intention where their voices have been lost through harmful familial, religious, cultural or traditional practices.
