About the Author

Yishebah Baht Gavriel is a fun-loving grandmother, writer, and storyteller who grew up in Trinidad and draws deeply on the nostalgia of her childhood memories.

As a former English language tutor at an after-school club, she enjoys mentoring young students and encouraging their creativity, drawing inspiration from reading and guiding their written work.

Her passion for children’s storytelling grew even stronger with the arrival of her first grandchild, to whom she has dedicated her books. With a background in Psychology, Yishebah believes in the importance of teaching life skills such as sharing, kindness, and emotional understanding through stories.

She is also the author of 'Clever Chrissie and the Mango Stories' and 'Colour with Chrissie and Friends,' continuing to delight and inspire young readers with meaningful, imaginative tales.
