Survivor to Warrior is a deep exploration into how we can overcome our limitations and live the life we deserve. Abuse can rear its ugly head in many forms leaving long-lasting damage affecting us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

If you find yourself stuck in repetitive cycles that lower your self-esteem causing you to attract toxic relationships, make you feel like a fraud, manage money poorly or you always fall short of fulfilling your potential, the problem could be rooted in childhood trauma left unattended.

Survivor to Warrior proves you no longer need to suffer and you always have a choice and an opportunity to break the chains that bind you, release the warrior inside and become your own hero. Through interactive reflections and exercises, Transformational NLP Coach, Lisa Cybaniak guides you along the journey to finding your own warrior, establishing your values and reclaiming your self-worth.

As a survivor of ten years of child abuse, Lisa gently walks you through effective strategies to help you reframe your experiences and reconnect with your Higher Self to help you rebuild your life on your own terms.

It’s time to step into your greatness and make a choice to live the life you’ve always deserved.

About the Author

Canadian born Lisa Cybaniak, is an Oxfordshire based NLP coach, motivational speaker, founder of Life, like you mean it! She was inspired along this career path after fighting to heal from ten years of child abuse.

As a teenager, one of the ways Lisa coped as after finding safety from her abuser, was by expressing herself through dance and acting. As early as age 13, Lisa was performing in Peter Pan with a children’s theatre company. By the age of 14 she was an assistant choreographer, as well as performer in Fiddler on the Roof. She continued her acting throughout her adult years with various roles within community theatre in Canada. She was honoured to be nominated by the Western Ontario Drama League for her ground-breaking role as a blind woman attacked in her apartment in Wait until Dark, a role originally played on screen by Audrey Hepburn.

Later, Lisa began her career as a Registered Massage Therapist, enjoying the immense feeling of helping others to heal through the power of positive touch. She quickly added several more healing modalities to her repertoire, including becoming a reiki Master, acupuncturist, doula, and lamaze childbirth educator. For 16 years, Lisa took pride in owning her own business helping people to heal physically.

By her mid-thirties, Lisa was ready to challenge herself. She became a science teacher and moved to England. Unhappy with the education system, Lisa quickly realised she was going to need to take action to find peace and happiness within. After meeting her husband and stepsons, she decided to continue to help people on a deeper level. She decided to pen her first blog and Life, like you mean it! was born.

With her successful blog on surviving and thriving after child abuse, Lisa set her sights on becoming an NLP coach, and writing her first book about her experiences. She is now on a mission to shed the stigma of being abused by breaking her silence, while empowering other survivors to build the life they deserve.
